Galatians 3:26-29 “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Christians actually believed this statement? Think about it for just a moment. A world without racism, a world without sexism, a world without discrimination. Well as Christians, we know that kind of world cannot exist without a knowledge of Jesus. The world simply cannot and will not be accepting of one another without the influence of the love of the Almighty. We know that it is only through the love of a Father who sent his only son to die for all humanity that can change a heart from hatred to compassionate. Well, Christians, if we know all this, then why can’t we accept one another? Why is the gender issue an issue? Do we really believe the Word of God, or do we only believe it if it is convenient to our doctrine and prejudices?
